REPLACE THE OLD CHEQUES

We wish to advise you that Central Bank of Bahrain has decided to issue cheques in new format to enhance the security, quality and accuracy of details in the cheques. Currently some of our customers have issued cheques in old format for repayment of loan installments. Please arrange to replace the old cheques with the new ones in coordination with your Bank. Also note that the deadline for replacement of old cheques is 31st July 2012 and subsequently a penalty would be levied by CBB for cheques presented in old format. Kindly note that the penalty levied by CBB would be debited to your loan account, which would result in overdue installments. We are pleased to inform you that our staff members would be ready to give you all assistance required in replacement of old cheques. Appreciate your cooperation so that we could serve you better.
